Ana Francisca brings a unique experience of the divine in everyday life to
her work. For her, the world we live in is multi-dimensional,
encompassing so much more than the daily and mundane. Thus, much
of the work contains images that immediately convey a sense of
divinity—a cathedral tow
er,
for example. In other pieces, the connection is more subtle, but
the viewer is addressed in a way to trigger the connection
subconsciously. She draws inspiration from her travels, stories
from the ancient world and visions, always seeking to give the
viewer an insight or perspective which embraces this
multi-dimensional awareness.
The theme of this collection “Egyptian Visions and Mythologies,” offers a
glimpse into how she unifies disparate realities. In the ancient world, symbols were
powerful links with the divine and the energies they
represented. In her own way, Ana Francisca uses symbols to help
us all find a connection with the divine and understand that it
is powerfully present in the plane in which we all live, not a
